The dangers of doing laundry...

So for most people doing the laundry is not very dangerous. They bring their dirty clothes to the washer and dryer, start the wash, come back later and move it into the dryer, and finally fold the clothes and put them away. Well for me its a different story. It starts with gathering my laundry up and putting it into the sled. Then I walk, dragging the sled, about 500 yards. After that point the action of doing the laundry is normal. When its all done washing and drying I gather it back into the laundry bags, load them into the sled, start to head back to my cabin.......and run into a bear. Not just any bear, but the bear that has been bothering camp for a couple of YEARS!!! What is he doing awake in the winter! So I let out a blood curdling scream, because he was quite close and walking towards me, and then started screaming for one of the maintenance guys who lived in the cabin I was walking in front of. He came out and ran the bear off, but the bear will be back. Thankfully I didn't drop the laundry I was carrying through the whole ordeal because then I would have to start the process all over again. So next time you go to do laundry, watch out for the bears!
